  • It can be easy to overthink mindfulness and make it more complex than it needs to be, and that sometimes can be interesting to engage with and examine. However, at its heart, it can be useful too to remember to keep mindfulness logical, clear and 'just keep it simple'.
  • Let's remember that mindfulness is simply about paying attention to your breath, or to sound, or to any other useful anchor you have discovered, to help you gently drop into the present moment over and over again.
  • There's no need to judge your mindfulness experience as right or wrong, like or dislike, only observe your experience as if watching clouds drift across the sky.
  • Each time you mind drifts off, or thoughts take over, return back to noticing the present moment again and again, time after time.

That's it. Just keep it simple.
